The Younger Women's Task Force (YWTF) was officially launched in 2005 through a meet-up that brought together more than a hundred younger women from more than 45 different states to define the issues that mattered most to them. Since that time, YWTF has served as a unique space to allow women from age 18-40 to work on issues of importance to them, including political engagement, leadership development, economic empowerment, women health, disability justice, reproductive justice, and work-life balance. The YWTF Seattle chapter was founded in 2014 and is not devoted to just a single cause. We fight for social justice and greater equity for all people, both within the metropolitan area and well beyond. Our members are a diverse and inclusive network of activists, organizers, scholars, allies, and professionals.
